Christian Dennis

Christian Dennis is a high-IQ, versatile linebacker who brings value from multiple spots in the front seven. He shows the ability to operate as a true middle linebacker while also lining up on the EDGE, giving South Shore flexibility in how he can be used. His football IQ stands out on film—Dennis reads his keys well, diagnoses plays quickly, and consistently puts himself in position to make an impact.

Against the run, Dennis has a strong nose for the football and is a dependable finisher. He triggers downhill with little hesitation, takes solid pursuit angles, and does a good job tracking ball carriers through traffic. He plays with physicality at the point of attack and shows the ability to take on and work off blocks rather than allowing himself to be completely removed from the play. His combination of awareness and instincts allows him to consistently find his way around the football.

Dennis also displays good overall athleticism and movement ability for the position. He has enough range to pursue plays outside the box, closes space well, and looks comfortable when asked to operate in space. His versatility as an inside linebacker and EDGE defender gives him the potential to fill multiple roles depending on scheme and situation.
