ATS Network Privacy Policy

After The Snap Network, LLC, doing business as ATS Network (“ATS Network,” “ATS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), respects the privacy of athletes, parents, coaches, schools, visitors, contributors, and other members of the high school football community who use our website, services, and related platforms.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we may share it, how future commercial data practices would be handled, and the choices available to you.

1. Who We Are

ATS Network is a high school football media and information platform providing news, recruiting coverage, rankings, player profiles, evaluations, schedules, scores, school information, events, original programming, and related community content.

This Privacy Policy applies to ATS-operated websites, accounts, registration systems, player profiles, forms, applications, and other online services that link to this Policy.

2. Age Requirements

ATS accounts are available to adults age 18 and older and players age 13 through 17, subject to the protections described in this Policy.

Children under 13 may view publicly available ATS content but may not create an ATS account or knowingly provide personal information to ATS through our registration, profile-claiming, application, or submission systems.

If ATS learns that personal information has been collected directly from a child under 13 in a manner that is not legally permitted, we may delete that information and suspend or close the associated account.

3. Information We May Collect

Depending on how you use ATS, we may collect account information such as name, email address, username, password or authentication information, account type, age or date of birth where required, and parent or guardian information where applicable.

Player profile information may include player name, school, graduation class, position, height and weight, jersey number, statistics, awards, athletic accomplishments, recruiting information, college offers or commitments, highlight-video links, social-media handles, player biography, photographs, and other football-related information.

Some player information may be collected from public sources, schools, teams, coaches, recruiting services, event information, publicly available social-media accounts, or ATS reporting rather than directly from the player.

We may also collect content users voluntarily submit, including profile updates, photographs, videos or video links, corrections, recruiting updates, event registrations, applications, nominations, messages, comments, news tips, and contact forms.

When you use ATS, we or our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring pages, approximate geographic information derived from an IP address, date and time of access, cookies or similar identifiers, and interaction or performance information.

4. How We Use Information

ATS may use information to create and maintain accounts; operate player and school profiles; verify profile claims; authenticate users; publish approved profile information; process profile updates and corrections; provide recruiting, rankings, news, scores, schedules, and football coverage; administer ATS events and applications; communicate with users; provide account and service notifications; moderate submissions; prevent fraud, impersonation, misuse, and security threats; analyze and improve the website; and comply with applicable law.

For users under 18, ATS will limit collection, use, disclosure, and processing of personal information as required by applicable law. ATS may restrict optional data collection or functionality for a minor when appropriate.

5. Player Profiles and Public Information

ATS is a sports media organization. Some player-profile information is intended for public display. Public profile information may include a player’s name, school, class year, position, height and weight, athletic statistics, rankings, ATS grade or evaluation, awards, recruiting offers, college commitment, highlight links, football photographs, and football biography.

ATS does not intend player profiles to function as private storage. Users should not submit information to a player profile that they do not want publicly displayed unless a field is specifically identified as private. ATS may determine which information is appropriate for publication.

6. Rankings and Evaluations

ATS rankings, grades, scouting evaluations, watch lists, and similar editorial information are created and controlled by ATS. A player, parent, coach, or account holder may provide factual corrections or updated athletic information but cannot directly modify ATS-controlled rankings, grades, or editorial evaluations.

7. Information About Minors

High school football necessarily involves athletes under age 18. ATS does not intend to publicly display a minor’s private email address, private telephone number, home street address, account password, private messages, precise real-time location, financial information, government identification number, or other sensitive information that ATS determines should remain private.

Parents or legal guardians may contact ATS regarding information associated with their minor child. ATS may require reasonable verification before changing or removing information.

ATS does not knowingly sell, license, or disclose the personal data of users under 18 for commercial data-brokerage or targeted-marketing purposes. Any future commercial use of minor data would require separate legal review and any consent, authorization, or other protections required by applicable law.

8. Parents and Guardians

A parent or legal guardian of a player under 18 may contact ATS to report inaccurate information, request review of a player profile, report unauthorized use of a photograph or personal information, request review or removal of eligible personal information, or raise concerns regarding an account or profile claim.

ATS may retain information when reasonably necessary for journalism, public-interest reporting, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes.

9. Profile Claims

Players, parents, guardians, coaches, and other approved individuals may be permitted to claim or manage player profiles. Claiming a profile does not transfer ownership of the profile or ATS editorial content to the claimant.

ATS may request information to verify that a person is authorized to manage the profile and may revoke a claim if it was unauthorized, contains false information, creates an ownership dispute, or violates ATS policies.

10. Cookies, Analytics, and Third-Party Technology

ATS may use cookies and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure accounts, measure traffic, understand how visitors use the site, improve functionality, and support embedded or third-party services.

ATS may use third-party analytics, hosting, security, video, email, social-media, advertising, or website technology providers. Those providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and their agreements with ATS.

11. YouTube and Embedded Media

ATS may embed videos or other content from YouTube and other third-party services. When you interact with embedded third-party content, the third party may receive information about your device or interaction. Use of those services may be governed by the third party’s privacy policy and terms.

12. When We May Share Information

ATS may share information with vendors and service providers helping operate ATS; when a user directs or authorizes us to do so; to publish information intended for a public player profile; to protect users, ATS, or others; to investigate fraud, abuse, impersonation, or security incidents; when required by law; in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of ATS; or when otherwise permitted by applicable law.

MTCA Event Consideration Opt-In

Eligible players may voluntarily opt in to consideration for certain Move The Chains Academy (MTCA) events based on graduation class. If a player checks the MTCA event-consideration box, the player directs ATS to share the player’s ATS profile and relevant football, recruiting, school, class-year, contact, and athletic information with MTCA solely for purposes of reviewing eligibility and deciding whether to invite or accept the player into an MTCA event. Opting in does not guarantee eligibility, selection, invitation, or acceptance. Players may withdraw this opt-in through ATS where the option is provided or by contacting ATS.

13. Future Sale, Licensing, or Commercialization of Adult Data

ATS does not currently represent that it sells personal information for money. ATS may, however, explore future business models involving the disclosure, licensing, sharing, or sale of certain information relating to adult users, audiences, or commercial analytics to sponsors, advertisers, analytics providers, recruiting-related businesses, media partners, or other commercial partners, where permitted by law.

Before ATS begins a practice that constitutes a “sale,” “sharing,” or similar regulated disclosure of personal information under applicable law, ATS will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate and provide any notice, consent mechanism, opt-out right, opt-in right, or other privacy control required by applicable law.

ATS will not interpret a user’s acceptance of this current Policy as blanket consent to a future transaction where applicable law requires a separate opt-in or other specific authorization.

ATS does not knowingly sell or license the personal data of users under 18 for commercial data-brokerage or targeted-marketing purposes.

If you want to state a preference now that ATS not sell or share your personal information in the future, email afterthesnappodcast@gmail.com with the subject “ATS Privacy Choice Request.” ATS will maintain and evaluate such requests consistent with applicable law and its then-current data practices.

14. Advertising and Sponsorships

ATS may display advertising, sponsorships, branded content, or promotional material. Advertising or sponsorship does not give an advertiser control over ATS rankings, grades, evaluations, or editorial coverage.

15. Data Security

ATS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and should notify ATS promptly if they believe an account has been compromised.

16. Data Retention

ATS may retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain historical sports and editorial records, operate accounts, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, and enforce ATS policies.

17. Corrections, Deletion, and Privacy Choices

Users may request correction of inaccurate account information. Players, parents, and guardians may request review of information displayed on a player profile. ATS distinguishes between factual personal information and protected editorial content such as reporting, rankings, evaluations, opinions, and historical sports records.

18. Third-Party Websites

ATS may link to recruiting services, schools, colleges, social-media platforms, video providers, news organizations, event providers, advertisers, sponsors, or other websites. ATS is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.

19. Changes to This Policy

ATS may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technology, business practices, or legal obligations change. The updated Policy will display a revised effective date. When appropriate or legally required, ATS may provide additional notice or request new consent before materially different uses of personal information begin.
