ATS Network Community & Player Profile Guidelines

ATS Network exists to cover, connect, and serve the New York high school football community. Our community includes players, parents, coaches, schools, alumni, college recruiters, fans, media members, event operators, and others who care about high school football.

1. Respect the Players

High school athletes are students first. Disagreement about football is normal; personal attacks are not. Do not harass a player, ridicule a player’s appearance, threaten a player, direct abusive messages toward a minor, publish a player’s private information, encourage harassment, make sexual comments about minors, or target a player based on a protected characteristic.

2. Adults Have a Higher Responsibility

Coaches, parents, media members, trainers, event operators, recruiters, and other adults are expected to recognize that many people on ATS are minors. Adults may not use ATS to pursue inappropriate personal relationships with minors, solicit private photographs, request unnecessary private contact information, pressure a player to communicate privately, exploit a player financially, or intimidate a player over rankings or coverage.

3. Account Eligibility

ATS accounts are available to adults age 18 and older and players age 13 through 17. Children under 13 may not create accounts. Players should provide accurate age information. ATS may apply additional safeguards to minor accounts.

4. Player Profiles

ATS player profiles may include player name, photograph, school, position, graduating class, height and weight, statistics, accomplishments, awards, recruiting offers, commitment information, highlight links, football biography, and ATS rankings and evaluations. ATS may create a profile before the player or family creates an ATS account.

5. Who May Claim a Player Profile

ATS may allow a profile to be claimed by the player, the player’s parent or legal guardian, an authorized coach, or another person approved by ATS. A user must have a legitimate relationship to the player. ATS may request verification.

6. Players Ages 13–17

Players age 13 through 17 may maintain an ATS account and, where permitted, claim their own player profile. ATS may limit certain account features, restrict collection of optional information, seek parent or guardian involvement, require additional consent where legally required, or override a profile-management decision when necessary for safety or legal compliance.

7. What Profile Owners Can Update

Approved profile managers may submit changes to factual profile information such as height, weight, position, jersey number, graduation year, statistics, athletic accomplishments, recruiting offers, college commitment, highlight-video links, football photographs, football biography, and other ATS-approved fields. Updates may be subject to review before appearing publicly.

8. What Profile Owners Cannot Change

Users cannot directly change ATS ranking, ATS grade, scouting evaluation, watch-list designation, award selection, ATS editorial notes, article content, or other ATS-created editorial judgments. Users may report factual mistakes, but ATS retains final editorial authority.

9. Photos and Media

A user submitting a photograph or video represents that the user has authority to submit it. ATS may reject or remove media that is sexually explicit, unlawfully copied, misleading, hateful, unrelated to the player, inappropriate, or creates a safety concern.

10. Personal Information We Do Not Want Posted Publicly

Do not submit a minor’s home street address, personal telephone number, private email address, passwords, financial information, Social Security number, government identification number, precise live location, class schedule, or other information that creates an unreasonable safety risk.

11. Recruiting Information

Users may submit legitimate scholarship offers, college interest, visits, commitments, and decommitments. Do not knowingly submit fake offers or falsely represent communication with a college program. ATS may request verification.

12. Rankings and Evaluations

Players, parents, coaches, and fans may disagree with ATS rankings and evaluations. Threats, harassment, and abusive messages are prohibited. Payment, sponsorship, participation in an ATS event, or knowing an ATS contributor does not guarantee favorable coverage or a ranking.

13. False Information and Impersonation

Do not falsely claim a profile; impersonate a coach, player, parent, college recruiter, or ATS personnel; or submit fabricated statistics, offers, or credentials.

14. Comments and Community Interaction

Where ATS enables comments or community posts, discussion should remain football-focused and respectful. Threats, harassment, bullying, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, doxxing, spam, fraud, impersonation, malicious links, and illegal content are prohibited.

15. Recruiting Discussions About Minors

Do not publicly speculate about a player’s family finances, private medical conditions, nonpublic academic records, disciplinary records, private family circumstances, or other sensitive personal matters unrelated to legitimate football reporting.

16. Parent and Guardian Requests

Parents and legal guardians may report an inaccurate profile, unauthorized account, unauthorized profile claim, inappropriate use of their child’s information, an inappropriate photograph, harassment, or another player-safety concern by emailing afterthesnappodcast@gmail.com.

17. Removal Requests

ATS will review legitimate privacy and safety requests. Removal is not automatic merely because a player or parent dislikes an article, ranking, evaluation, game result, historical statistic, or other legitimate editorial coverage.

18. Serious Safety Issues

Do not use ATS to threaten, exploit, groom, sexually solicit, or endanger a minor. ATS may preserve relevant information and make reports to law enforcement, child-safety organizations, schools, parents, guardians, or other appropriate parties when ATS reasonably believes doing so is necessary or legally required.

19. Enforcement

ATS may issue a warning, remove content, reject a submission, revoke a profile claim, restrict account features, temporarily suspend an account, permanently terminate an account, preserve evidence of misconduct, or refer serious conduct to appropriate authorities.
