Braylon Lewis

Braylon Lewis is a developing linebacker with a strong physical foundation and a willingness to play downhill. He shows solid ability across the board, with consistent grades in tackling, pursuit, instincts, block take-on, athleticism, and closing burst. Lewis brings good strength to the position and has the tools to become an effective run defender as his technique and processing continue to improve. His physicality gives him a solid base to build on, particularly when attacking the line of scrimmage and pursuing ball carriers.

The next step for Lewis is becoming more consistent with his technique and overall recognition. He needs to do a better job of staying low when tackling to improve leverage and finishing, while continued development in pass coverage will help him become a more complete linebacker. Improving his read-and-react ability and processing plays quicker will allow him to play faster and make more plays in space. With continued development in these areas, Lewis has the physical tools and competitive foundation to take another step forward as a 2027 linebacker.
